What is LoserPhace?
Well, while in high school, Eric and Kyle started a band with their friend Jody. They couldn't come up with a band name, but a few were tossed around. LoserPhace was in the mix but never chosen. That band ended up being called "Anything Plain." After they graduated, found Landis, they went with LoserPhace. It was catchy and stood out as it was spelled with a "Ph" instead of an "F."
There really is no true meaning behind the name. It was funny and punkish.
Their Story:

The band became friends with the band "A Kid Named Thompson" in San Antonio, TX. This helped them get their name out there and provided time slots for shows where they were not booked for. They would practice as much as they could around work, school, and life in general. Shows quickly booked up as they made their way into the music scene, even playing back to back shows although that caused some trouble. The band was highly influenced by Blink-182 and even took the antics to the stage, making jokes and doing what they called "dancing." While some shows were boring, and slow, there was some talk about how some enjoyed going to see LoserPhace even if they didn't know the music. This was due to the involvement and attitude the band had with the crowd. Almost nothing was off limits during a show, from playing covers to taking requests.
The band had a youtube channel where they would post updates and footage from performances. Becoming the second result for "Blink 182 Feeling This" when searched, the video had over 70k views (which was pretty good for the time.) Fans ranged all over the globe to even include New Zealand and Tasmania, just to name a couple.
The band had plans to expand their shows, touring in nearby Texas cities and even going out of state when the time came. They were booked to play on a local San Antonio news channel and playing an acoustic set at the Hot Topic in a local mall.
Sadly, these shows never happened, and neither did the tour. The band split ways abruptly and really only spoke a few times in the coming years.
It wasn't until 2023 when the members met up, had a quick jam session, and laughed about what could have been.
Where Are They Now?
The band members are each exceeding in their own parts of life. From having kids to opening their own recording studio, and having the dream jobs they wished for (other than being rock stars of course.) They keep in touch and will possibly make music again, time/life permitting. So keep your eyes peeled and maybe one day you will see some more originals by the band formerly known as, "LoserPhace."
